   Not all USB port based charging is the same. Some are a measly 1 amp, and some aren’t “smart” and don’t communicate with your device to determine the fastest and safest charge it can handle.

   Each USB port on this charger will identify your devices and deliver the fastest possible charge speed up to 2.4 amps per port, or 4 amps overall. This make a HUGE speed difference over a typical 1 amp charger.

   It’s “smart” so it will protect against over-charging, over-voltage, over-current and short-circuits.

   The build quality seems very good and I think it actually looks great as well. This charger is a bit LARGE compared to most 2 port chargers, so take that into consideration if space is tight. I assume the extra smart circuitry is why this device is larger than most.

   It came with a great feeling Apple compatible lightning cable, which is a huge bonus, since having to buy an additional cable wouldn’t be cheap.

   I received it at a moderate discount for a fair and unbiased review. Honestly I would be glad to pay full-boat on this charger.

   My son is always misplacing the charging cord for his iPhone and is constantly in need of a new one and I never seem to be able to find an open USB charger. This set was perfect because it comes with a dual USB wall charger and a 3.3ft Apple certified lightning cable that can be used for an iPhone, iPad, or iPod. It feels much better in quality than the sets I have bought in the past. It is very sturdy and durable and the cord seems nice and strong. I have used it to charge both my sons phone and my iPad with no problem. The charging speed is good and it is even able to sync the phone to my computer. I am definitely satisfied with this purchase and would recommend it to anyone who uses an iPhone, iPad, or iPod. I received this product at a discounted rate in exchange for an honest and unbiased review.

   The Eleckey 4.8 A car charger looks really well made and seems very solid in your hand. Likewise, the lightning cable that comes with the charger is a ribbon type cable that seems overbuilt and solid. I plugged my Eleckey charger into the car to give this charger a try and it began to glow a pleasant blue color. I then began testing it with some of my most demanding devices. Some of these devices will not charge if you do not have sufficient current to power the device. No problem with this charger. Everything I threw at this charger plugged in and started charging right away. The charger was also able to handle 2 high current devices at the same time. I touched the charger while I was using it and it was cool to the touch.
   This is a well made charger that can handle charging just about any device on the market right now. The only thing it cannot do is rapid charge.

   I received this product at a discount or free in exchange for my honest opinion.
