My last car mount was one of those that had a giant suction cup that stuck to the windshield. Unfortunately, it didn’t work very well in the hot sun which caused it to fall down, so I had to replace it. That’s when I found the Jarmon Universal CD Slot Mount Smartphone Holder and I am so glad that I did. This type of phone holder uses the CD slot that many cars like mine came with. Since I have never actually owned a CD to put into the player that my car came with, the Jamon Universal CD Slot mount fits perfectly in the unused CD player slot. No more suction cups, sticky residue or screws necessary to install it, the mount slipped securely inside the slot.

Once the mount is fully installed, the head swivels 360° for the ultimate in hands-free operations. The three adjustable latches are capable of opening up or closing down around a wide range of smartphones. It really holds my brand new Apple iPhone 6 securely, even inside the Otterbox case I have in. That means I don’t have to take it out of the case in order to be able to put it in the mount and then put it back into the case when I arrive at my destination.

No need to worry about the mount damaging your phone as it sits inside the mount, each of the three clips have a special cushion which helps to secure the phone tightly in place, while protecting it from damage. This is a really neat phone mount! It’s well made and very sturdy. It is easy to install and use. It goes into your CD player of your car. AND you can still play CDs while it’s installed!! It is adjustable so you can turn and tilt your phone to where you can see it. I have an iPhone 5c with a otterbox and it fits perfect! I like that I don’t have to take my phone out of the case. My phone stays put in this holder and I can use it as a gps or speaker phone while I drive.

I’ve tried a few different car cell phone holders but always hated the fact that I had to remove my cover or case in order to use but with this mount from JAMRON I don’t have to go to all that trouble any longer. This is a universal CD slot mount style cell phone holder that fits Apple, Samsung and most popular Android phones and all it takes to install is slip into your cd player and lock. I’ve always hated those that attached to car vents because it blocked air flow and on hot days that could be problematic. Hubby and I take a lot of impromptu weekend road trips that are never planned or mapped out so we depend solely on my phone’s gps so being able to have it at his disposal, not having to rely on me to relay an upcoming turn, has made for less frustration on his part and more enjoyable trips altogether. The cushioned plastic holders of the case safely secure your cell phone – no slipping, no scratching, and can easily be removed with a one touch release, very user friendly and overall great device.
