This car mount kit is the perfect solution for my family. We have two cars, and my husband is using the windshield mount, while I use the vent mount, since my windshield is too steep to comfortably use a windshield mount. I like them both for their ease of installation; each mount took just minutes to install. I also really like that they are fully adjustable, and how easily they can be set at their most convenient position for viewing and access. The cradles allow ample space for my thick, protective phone case, as well, which is a huge plus. The phone cradles allow for easy insertion and removal, and it takes just a second to be on my way, with no fiddling around. The quality seems good; there are no parts that feel flimsy or in danger of breaking. I received this car mount kit free in exchange for my evaluation and honest review.

I really liked to be able to choose which option to use for my car. Having both the vent mount and the windshield mount was great to have because I got to try both out and decide which one was best for me. I went with the vent mount because I found that the having something hanging down on my windshield was a little distracting. My husband or son will probably end up using it so it’s really nice I can take care of two cars with what I’d normally pay to do one car.

I tried it with my iPod Touch. I like to listen to my own music through blue tooth and this puts the iPod close enough that I can change songs without having to fumble and pick it up as I was doing before. Great way to help keep people from driving and getting distracted from looking down in their laps to see their phones or other devices.

I can also see use with this as I also use my iPhone’s GPS navigator at times and same thing again, I was looking down in my lap at my phone. This vent mount is more to eye level and I’m not completely taking my eyes off the road. The other nice thing about getting both mounts is I could mount my iPhone onto the windshield mount for my GPS use and still use the vent mount for my iPod’s music.

Installation was easy for both mounts. The instruction booklet was well-written and had great photos and illustrations that made it super easy. The only problem I had was the red switch in the back that locks and unlocks was a little hard for me to use. That may be just my weak fingers and it wasn’t something that would keep me from not recommending the mounts.

It looks like it’s compatible with all cell phones. I used my iPod Touch in the photos but my iPhone 6 plus fits the mounts also.
This is a very useful and well-made product that I will be using for years to come.

The dual car mounts are wonderful. In the box are two phone holders, a window mount, and an air vent mount. There is also an instruction sheet on how to assemble them, but I was able to do it without looking at it. The window mount holds securely to the window – after I pulled off the protective film. LOL The air vent mount very easily clipped to the car air vent, but was a trick to get it off. The two phone holders have extendable arm so it can pretty much hold any size phone. There are also two smally feet to help support the phone. This set is good especially if you have two cars in your family like we do. I received the phone holders for free in exchange for my unbiased review
