This is a great phone mount for your car. Just stick to the vent and your good to go. Please note in the video I show the back of my phone buldging out due to the metal plate for the NekTeck car mount. I have a small phone so if you have a larger phone you wont have that problem. But you can still use a phone case to hold the metal plate. I picked this off of a list of things needing a review at a discounted rate or free and gave my unbiased honest opinion.

This is AWESOME!!! It fits perfectly in my vent, in both my Armada as well as our Altima. My favorite part is that no matter what case I’m using, as long as I pop the magnetic part into it, it will work. I tried on a soft silicone plastic case, a harder lifeproof case, and a waterproof case – all worked like a charm. The magnet held the phone tight and the ball swivel made it so that I could maneuver my phone around for the best view. This is great because I do not have a GPS in either of my vehicles, so I am able to use my phone safer than holding it in my hand. I did receive this product at a discount in exchange for my unbiased and honest review. The opinions on this are completely my own. I always personally use each item that I review and continue using (if I like it). I never resell any products that I test and never test products that I won’t use. I hope this was helpful to you. If it was, I would love the feedback below. I’m always looking to improve my reviews.

Initially, I didn’t know how this was going to stick on my phone until I went back and looked at the pictures on the posting and reference my package. Included were 2 thin plates that you can either place between your phone and a protective case, or use the one that has an adhesive side to stick to your phone if you like to live on the edge without a case.

First impression was good. I was able to quickly take it out of the box and stick it on my vent with no issues. 1 hand operation. Removing was the same process. This is a definite step up from a previous one I purchased last year so when I had the opportunity to get this one at a discount for my honest review, I jumped on it!

PROS:
– ease of application
– included thin plates
– easy to adjust and relocate on the go
– It stays put and the magnet is strong enough to hold my iPad2. I’ll try that out this weekend

CONS:
– as with any magnet, remember to keep away from your credit cards/wallet when not on the vent. The metal plate that goes on your phone should not be magnetized but I would double check especially after long periods of use. This is me being paranoid but better safe than sorry.
