I own a 2015 Honda Accord. If you are also driving a 2013+ (9th Gen) Accord, you know that mounting a phone/GPS is the hardest thing. I’ve tried every mounting solutions possible. Windshield mount and dashboard mount blocks my view when placed near center console. Some mount even blocks my center screen. I don’t want to mount my phone on my left because I always ask the passenger to update/enter address for GPS if necessary. Other air vent mount looks fragile and I think the hot air from the vents might heat up the phone. This CD slot mount solves all the problems I had, it’s sturdy, and it can tilt freely. Easy to put my iPhone 6 on and off while maintaining a good grip. The best part is that it won’t block the view to the center screen (even with an iPhone 6 plus). Build quality was just as I wanted using good quality plastic. Mounting the holder in my car’s CD slot was a snap, taking all of 2 seconds. My CD player still operates without problem even with this installed.

Really well designed mount! Holds my large LG with Otter Box case with room to spare. Easy to adjust both the phone holder and the CD slot mounting bracket with intuitive, well constructed mechanisms. Only need one hand to put phone in/take phone out. Easy to remove entire mount from CD slot also. Great product! I highly recommend!

I have a Nexus 6 with a thick case, so for those of you with the Nexus 6 of iPhone 6+, you don’t have to worry about it. I bought this mount because my phone’s buttons are near the side-center, and the holding arms looked thin enough that they wouldn’t interfere (they are). I usually place the phone just off-center so the arms support the phone underneath the buttons.

The mount pivot ball can be tightened and loosened. I tightened it to allow me to easily rotate the phone 90 degrees and yet not allow the phone to rotate or change position when I hit a bump in the road. Even with the Nexus 6 being heavy and supported off-center, I can rotate it 90 degrees and it will still not rotate or change position on its own.

I have not seen any compromises with the quality and the price is excellent for what you get.
