The iPow dash mat is an interesting approach to positioning mobile devices in your vehicle. We’ve seen the many variations of suction cup, vent, and CD slot mounts that have been available for years now. However, you might want a different option. Dash mats are new to me. I’ve seen them before, but this mat actually cradles your phone or device to allow proper viewing angles. It’s made of thick silicone which offers flexibility to conform to various curved surfaces commonly found in vehicles. The soft silicone won’t scratch your device but adds a big of grip to keep devices stable. The bottom of the mat is grippy, but not sticky. It holds all my mobile devices well. It’s designed for phones and GPS units, but I wanted to demonstrate how much it could support by placing my 10.1″ tablet on the mounts. It’s on the verge of tipping over, but rest assured, it will support your phone without issue. The mounts can be adjusted into 4 different slots on each side. The mounts are deep, requiring you to push your phone into place (depending on how thick your phone is and if you’re using a case). The dash mat works pretty well, but I find I have to take too much care in placing the phone in securely. If I’m too rough and jam my phone in, it can pop the mounting pieces out of their slots. It’s a simple black design, which makes it easy to match with different interiors. I received this item for free in exchange for an honest review.

I am always struggling to find a place to set my phone while my gps is on. With the IPOW silicone non slip dash mat phone holder I don’t have to worry about my phone sliding around! It sits nicely on my dashboard so I can see it easily if I need to, yet it is out of my way.
This dash mat is compatible with most phones including Samsung Galaxy, iphone and other tables and phones. It adheres easily to any surface without using adhesives or glue. It is flexible to fit large and small phones.
It is 6.8 inches by 4.2 inches by 1.6 inches. The phone holder is a ruber piece with a hook design to make sure your phone doesn’t slip or slide. It is very lightweight yet holds my phone with the case on it as well. I would recommend this dash mat to anyone who uses their phone for gps or has any use for a dash mat.

Fits my phone which is a zmax nice and tight and it wont be sliding all over your dash board, I have a over sized phone my kids call it a phablet and this holds my phone. I can leave this flat on the dash board and it does not grab attention of people walking by. It hold my phone in arms reach or eyes view so that I can see who is calling and answer with my blue tooth. It was very easy to put together and I did not even look at instructions. I allows you to adjust the with to match your phone. I think that you will also find this a neat and item worth having.
