   I’ve had other car vent adapters, but all of them seem to have a four prong clasp that never stays put on my vent and comes off when I try to remove the phone. With this mount I have none of those issues, and the added benefit of being able to rotate and reangle the phone on the fly. Totally satisfied.

   Full disclosure: I actually purchased this phone holder just months before they updated the prong clasp to this clip version. I’m a bit envious actually (hahaha) because the clip version is even better! This clip version is less flimsy and the holder will stay put as you remove your phone. I thought I’d repost my review since the old product is no longer available on Amazon and I thought this could help someone out.

   If you’re trying to decide on a phone holder, I’d recommend this one. I knew I wanted an air vent phone holder because phones get warm while the GPS is running—especially in warm weather—which can cause the phone to shutdown temporarily. Most of the air vent holders I looked at seemed cheaply made, clunky, didn’t rotate/tilt, and looked too complicated/ugly for something that should be simple. I didn’t want something that looked like a big cradle or a claw—I wanted something that was not only made of quality materials, but had a minimalistic design! Finally, I found the Koomus Road Pro and I’m happy.

   Pros (+):
   • Lightweight and unobtrusive
   • Universally compatible. Holder goes from 2.25″ and stretches to 3.4″
   • The clip that goes onto the vent will fit all vents (round, vertical, horizontal)
   • The ball head rotates 360° and can be tilted to any angle
   • Materials and construction feel sturdy

   Cons (-):
   • A bit pricey
   • I’d recommend closing your air vent where the mount is installed if your heater is on!

   For those curious, this weighs about 2 oz., and measures 2.5” x 1″ x 2.50”

   I used this for a trip to Hawaii which was very hot (90° outside) and humid. This was left in the car and the rubber and plastic was fine. My phone also stayed within the grip the whole time. It may be a bit pricey for something so simple but it was worth it.

   This is a nice phone holder that fits in my cars air vent. This worked on both my cars with out any issues. (Mazda CX9 and mt wife’s Mini Cooper Clubman) Once you attached to the vents it stays in place until you are ready to take it off. It has a One button push to open the jaws stick in your air vent and let go and it grips the plastic vent parts and hold nice and tight. The jaws that hold the phone are padded with a rubbery type material so it does not damage my phone and gives it extra gripping so my phone will not slide out. I can adjust my phone to pretty much any angle so I can best see my phone. It is very easy to put in and take out the phone of the holder.

   1) Come already assembled and ready to use.
   2) Fits many different phone sizes (tested with Galaxy S6, and S2, iPhone 6, and 4)
   3) Easy to install to the vents, just one button
   4) Holds phones tightly so it will not fall out
   5) Easy to adjust to pretty much any angle needed
   6) Lightweight but well build
   7) Well made out of hard black plastic
   8) Durable
   9) Easy to put in and take out phone
   10) Should fit any car, SUV or truck air vent
