   I actually got this to go on my aunt’s walker. She had a terrible car accident, broke her pelvis and leg and is faced with months of physical therapy, throughout which she will be forced to use a walker. It’s just sitting there now, unused, but in a day or so she will be starting PT and I’m hoping that she will feel less “old” using her walker if she at least has her cell with her. Plus hospital gowns don’t have pockets and even if she was able to wear pants now, I would assume the added weight would be uncomfortable. She is using the case on it tho, she has the front of the walker facing her and holder turned to display the screen so she can use the phone in speaker phone for calls without much afford and watch Youtube cat videos. When my niece saw this she immediately checked it out and called dibs on it for after her mom was out of the walker. She plans on mounting it on her floorlamp pole beside her bed so she can do the same as her mother is doing with it now. We first tried to mount this on her wheel chair but that proved impractical, the front mounting caught her gown and made getting in and out of the chair much more difficult that it already was. Besides mounting it to the back of the chair there was no other place the right size and shape for the clamp.

   The clamp itself is a great design. The hinge is adjustable allowing larger circumferences. The clamp also has a silicon like gripper that holds the clamp in the same place and prevents it from flipping upside down. I can see how this would be perfect for a bike. The stretchy silicon piece, web thingie works great for her iPhone 4 but not so much for her daughters Galaxy S6 Active. It was too big. I really wish I had gotten pictures of it on the walker but I felt that that may have seemed rude. I did get pictures of my son’s 5c in it before I took it to her tonight. This should be sold in hospital gift shops because it really did work well.

   The Universal Smartphone Bike Mount mounts easily to bicycle handlebars and holds my phone (Galaxy Note 5) fairly secure when the silicone band is used. I would not recommend for anything larger than the Note 5 or iPhone 6 Plus as the silicone band is at its max.

   The silicone band does cover access to the phone’s ‘back’ and ‘recent apps’ buttons on Android phones which restricts usability while in the cradle. It is not as restrictive if there is a protective case on the phone. The placement of the silicone band should not be a problem with the iPhone or others that have a single button located in the center of the phone or that those phones where the touch screen is not located close to the top or bottom edges of the phone..

   This product only comes with one silicone band and it is red as are the sides of the cradle. A spare band or two sizes of bands would be nice as the larger phones stretch the band to its limits.

   This a neat little gadget, it does what it’s supposed to do. I think there are a couple of things that could be improved upon. They weren’t worth taking any stars away, but I still feel they’re worth mentioning.
   I didn’t feel the part that will hold your phone is a 5 star holder. It holds the phone very tight, but I don’t know how well a phone larger than mine is going to fit. I have a Galaxy 5s, and there are larger phones. It was just about stretched to it’s limits holding my phone, which does have a case on it. It just was an awkward hold, I felt. Without the red rubber holder, I don’t think it would hold anything well at all.
   So that brings me to the rubber type holder. Again, I felt it was really tight on my phone, it was stretched pretty thin, and I know there are larger phones. If this breaks or snaps, you’ll be in a world of hurt. It isn’t bad quality, but with the amount of pressure you have to apply to get it around the corners of the phone, I think it could become compromised with consistent use.
   Having voiced those concerns, I do feel the rest of the mount is of decent quality. The clamp is pretty good plastic. The bolt goes into a reinforced hole. There are 3 sizes that you can adjust it to, to fit a range of bike sizes or locations.
   When I finally did get the rubber holder around my phone. it was held pretty securely. The design is compact and convenient.
   I hope it holds up well, for the most part I like it and I hope my concerns are groundless.
   I included pictures of it on my bike. I wasn’t able to take a pic of it actually installed, since I had to use my phone to take the pictures. So, I included a pic of the box so you can see what the final result is.
   I purchased this at a discounted price to test and give a full, honest review.
