This little cable has been great and I find myself using it as my go-to cable. It’s nice and short and doesn’t get tangled. The part that shocked me the most was that it got better throughput than my 3ft Apple cable. When charging my iPad I got around 1.88a with the Apple cable. I got around 2.33a when charging with my little Anker 1ft. (See video)

Pros
– No tangles
– High throughput
– Quality ends
– Short

Cons
– Short (can’t use a short cable for everything but when you can its GREAT!)

Gentlemen, 12 inches may actually be shorter than you think… This is a great product, charges well (tried on iPhone 5 and iPad Mini 2), smaller size helps keep clutter to a minimum. About my first comment, I bought these for use in my car and am very happy, however, I misjudged the distance between the charger and where I’d like to position my phone. Not a big deal at all, and 100% on me, but I’d suggest measuring to make sure 12 inches will be enough.
