   I can’t tell you how many times I’ve plugged my iPhone or iPad into my USB hub and received the message “iPhone Not Charging – Connect to a power adapter or a USB port on this Mac to Charge.” I always thought this was an issue with the USB hub. I was wrong! I’ve used tons and tons of different Lightning cables and they’ve all resulted in this message (and plenty of them also give the “this accessory may not be supported..” message).

   Well this cable just works! No error messages on any of my iOS devices. No error messages on my computers. This cable works great!

   This is a premium cable. I love that it’s heavy duty with braided metal sheath (I’m hoping this will discourage my cats from their expensive cable chewing habit) and metal clad connectors. The gold plated connector is nice, too. It also has a velcro strap attached for conveniently securing the cable after looping it up.

   Almost as good as the super high quality look and feel is the length. That extra foot makes a difference when I’m driving. Three feet is just six inches too short for me to talk on my phone while it’s charging in my car (yes, using a cell phone while driving is legal in my locale).

   I received a discount on this product for my honest, unbiased review. But be assured I’m buying more of these cables at full price, because they are the best Lightning cables I’ve found yet.

   I recommend this Lightning cable BECAUSE IT WORKS!

   UPDATE I (12/11/2015):
   I’ve been using this cable for over a month now. I use it mostly to charge my iPad Air 2, but also an iPhone 6. I’m really surprised to see all the reviews reporting failures. I’ve had no problems.

   Please note that I thought the sheathing on the cable was metal. It is not. It is nylon. Even so, seems durable.

   I still really love this cable and am disappointed to see others aren’t having the good experience that I am.

   We purchased an angled dock system and wanted black cords instead of the Apple white version. The problem was, most lightning cables have larger than Apple stock heads and won’t fit in the dock. This cable has the smaller head and it fits perfectly, just like the original Apple cable. We won’t be moving these cables or unplugging/plugging them, so I won’t know if they hold up from that standpoint, but they work for us.
